Auri's Brazen Gear earrings are officially licensed with the author & Patrick Rothfuss actively participated in the design process.
The Brazen Gear is a heavy brass gear with a missing tooth, worn down and broken with use. The gear sings to Auri of stories, but causes her much consternation. The gear is coy about where is belongs in the world and Auri carries it through the Underthing™, trying to find its name and proper place. Things seem dark until a beautiful tragedy reveals the way things ought to be.
The gear charms are skillfully crafted in solid brass on two tone surgical steel ear wires, carefully hand finished and individually inspected for the highest quality. Each measure approximately 15.5 mm (just over 9/16") long, 14.8 mm (9/16) wide, and 1.7 mm (1/16") thick. The earrings weigh approximately 3 grams (1.5 grams each). The back of each gear is textured & stamped with the makers mark and copyright.
