Inspired from the pages of The Name of the Wind™ and Wise Man's Fear™ by Patrick Rothfuss comes The Eolian Talent Pipe™ Earrings. The Eolian Talent Pipe Earrings are an officially licensed Kingkiller Chronicle replica and Patrick Rothfuss actively participated in the design process.
These small silver pipes are awarded to talented musicians by the owners of the Eolian™ if their performance on stage is impressive enough. The Talent Pipes™ are a mark of distinction and recognition for a performer. Once earned, the musician gains free admittance to the Eolian and the right to play on their stage whenever desired. Playing on the Eolian stage could earn a musician some extra coin, a drink or two from the crowd or a wealthy patron. Kvothe™ earns his talent pipes playing "The Lay of Sir Savien Traliard"™ on his lute in The Name of the Wind™.
Each earring is carefully hand finished and individually inspected for the highest quality . The Talent Pipes measure approximately 14 mm (just over 9/16") long (including bail), 10.4 mm (just under 7/16") wide and 3.1 mm (1/8") at the thickest point on sterling silver ear wires. Each weigh approximately 3.3 grams in sterling silver. Available in plain silver or with black antiquing.
