METALLICA The Memory Remains Single 5ft Promo Poster
A small number of these oversized posters were created in 1997 for use in promoting the release of Metallica's "The Memory Remains" single.
Posters of this size, 40"x 60" (101.6cm x 152.4cm) were primarily used in subway/tube stations, storefronts in large industrial buildings like the Virgin Megastore that used to be in Times Square. As such, they were produced in especially small runs and then even more prone to damage or being discarded after the promotion ended. Thus, this is one of a very small number to have survived in any condition.
This poster is still in unused, mint condition, still sealed rolled in the original plastic. Photos are of an identical poster in the same condition which was opened, photographed and sold about 15 years ago. In the same or better condition than the one in the photos with only very slight wear from ~25 years in storage.
