Inspired by The Hobbit ®, the immortal work by J.R.R. Tolkien, the Smaug™ The Golden Necklace is officially licensed The Hobbit jewelry with Middle-earth Enterprises.
Smaug™, one of the last great dragons of Middle Earth™, plundered the Lonely Mountain™ from the Dwarven Longbeards™ clan, claiming treasures within. Among those treasures claimed was the Arkenstone, the Heart of the Mountain™. The dragon is commonly referred to as Smaug The Golden by Durin's Folk.

The pendant features Smaug nestled atop his treasure hoard, protectively curled around the Arkenstone. The Arkenstone is a 6mm Austrian crystal Crystal sphere. The pendant measures approximately 32.7 mm (just over 1.25 inches) long including the bail, 22.7 mm (7/8 inch) wide, and 6.4 mm (0.25 inch) thick at the Arkenstone, weighing approximately 8.4 grams.
