Description:
Found in the German national archives is the cleaver of the Butcher of Hanover. This relic was forged from human remains of the victims of this Butcher. No one knows how it was overlooked all these years but here it is right before you. The handle is a simulated femur that was chopped off from an adult male that. The blade has been antiqued to look weathered and the red wrap is a material that has yet to be identified by the Coroner. Gotcha! This cleaver is made from polyurethane foam with a 10 mm inner core and painted with excellent detailing to look like the real deal but great story right? All kidding aside this cleaver would make a great addition to a wickedly scary costume. Friedrich Heinrich Karl "Fritz" Haarmann (25 October 1879 – 15 April 1925) was a German serial killer, known as the Butcher of Hanover.
